How good is Sucre? Two Saturdays ago, after working at my friend Matt's vegetable stand for three hours, I had to leave early to drive to my little brother's 25th anniversary potluck in Sussex. I had no gift, but stopped in at Sucre where Punky had just delivered a beautiful Austrian torte, with berries and hazelnuts. So I decided to take the whole thing to the potluck.
When I opened the box, they wanted to hang the darn thing on the wall.

I have been pretty impressed with the fare at sucre. I haven't been in for a coctail yet, though. HERE is my take on the place from a summer Saturday.
