Like lemmings following the herd over the cliff, we followed a group of people from the parking lot taking a shortcut across Mineral Point Road down this hillside. The grass was slippery, the slope steep, but we picked our way carefully down the hill. Nobody fell, and we all jaywalked across Mineral Point Road. It was the "as the crow flies" route to the concert, sparing the longer -- and safer -- trek back up to Rosa Road.

Shortcut to Opera in the Park
Like lemmings following the herd over the cliff, we followed a group of people from the parking lot taking a shortcut across Mineral Point Road down this hillside. The grass was slippery, the slope steep, but we picked our way carefully down the hill. Nobody fell, and we all jaywalked across Mineral Point Road.
