The first time the GOP ticket came to Wisconsin

Messages from Wisconsin to Romney-Ryan
Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan campaigned in Waukesha Sunday, but it was not their first joint appearance in Wisconsin. That would have been last spring, when the folks back home gave the GOP ticket a big Wisconsin welcome before they knew Romney and Ryan would be running mates. That was when Ryan was on Romney's campaign bus for a stop at Scott Walker's regional call center in Fitchburg, just outside Madison. The welcome committee even showed them what democracy looks like. The two men entered and left very quickly -- Ryan was too quick for me to even get a photo, not that I cared. Here in the Badger state, Ryan is old news -- Toto has pulled back the curtain too many times, revealing him to be, not a wizard, but a phony. We'll be happy to sbare with the rest of the nation what it needs to know. Like the town hall meeting in Milton where was booed by his constituents when he advocated cutting taxes for the wealthy. It's going to be fun.
